COMPRESSION SPRAYER
No pressurization of the reservoir
– The seals of the various elements which are screwed onto the reservoir (hose, cap). Tighten. Change the seals ts if necessary.
– The seal of the hose rotating connector. Grease. Change the seal if necessary.
– The valve seal. Grease the seal or replace the valve if greasing does not solve the problem.
– The state of the piston seal pump. Grease. Change if necessary.
The liquid goes up to the upper part of the pump body
– The presence and condition of the valve at the bottom of the pump body. If it is missing or damaged, replace it.
The liquid comes out of the nozzle without pressing the switch
– The condition of the handle piston joints. Clean. Replace them if damaged.
The reservoir is pressurized, the valve is activated but the liquid does not come out when you press the lance switch.
– That the circuit is not blocked at the handle filter or at the nozzle. Clean.
– That the plunger tube is coupled to the tubing.
The valve operates badly or not at all
– The condition of the valve joint. Grease the joint or replace the valve if greasing is not sufficient.
KNAPSACK SPRAYER
Knapsack sprayers PISTON :
Lack of pressure in the air chamber
-That the suction filter is not clogged. Clean if necessary.
-The seal between the cylinder and the air chamber. Tighten. Replace the air chamber if necessary.
-The condition of the piston seal. Lubricate or replace if damaged.
Leak from the piston
The condition of the piston seal. Lubricate or replace if damaged.
Liquid escapes through the nozzle without the switch being pressed
That the handle switch is not blocked. Operate, release. Replace the handle if the switch is blocked
The air chamber is pressurized, but the liquid won’t come out when the switch is pressed
-That the circuit is not blocked in the handle filter or nozzle. Clean.
-That the hosing is not bent at the tank outlet.
The piston is broken
-That the lever is mounted correctly in relation to the pumping position.
-Replace the piston
Knapsack sprayers DIAPHRAGM :
Lack of pressure in the air chamber
-The sealing elements located between the pump outlet and the end of the lance. If leakage occurs tighten or replace the defective item.
– The condition of the air chamber seal. Lubricate or replace if damaged.
– The presence of valves and pump. Replace if missing or damaged.
– The presence of the valve, spring and pressure relief valve seals.
Lack of pressure in the air chamber and the pump leaks
– That the diaphragm is correctly positioned and in good condition. Replace if necessary.
Liquid escapes through the nozzle without the switch being pressed
– The condition of the piston seals in the handle. Clean. Replace if damaged.
The air chamber is pressurized, but the liquid won’t come out when the switch is pressed
– That the circuit is not blocked around the quick connector, the handle filter and nozzle. Clean.
– That the quick connector is working properly by pressing the shut valve. Replace if damaged.
BATTERY POWERED
Leak between the handle and the spray gun tube
Check for the presence and state of the seal and the plastic washer, put back in place or replace if necessary
The motor is running but the device sprays only weakly or not at all
-Make sure the suction filter in the bottom of the tank is clean. Clean it if necessary.
-Make sure the nozzle is not blocked. Clean if necessary.
-Make sure the suction and discharge tubes are not trapped (dismantling described in the chapter on “replacing -the battery”)If none of these cases applies, replace your battery.
The motor is not running
Make sure the terminals are properly connected (dismantling described in the chapter on “replacing the battery”).
If the terminals are properly connected, replace your battery.
Water leaking from the bottom of the device
-Check the connections and state of the pump supply and discharge pipes. Tighten or replace if necessary.
-Check the tightness of the nut on the tank tubing.
